Theresa Weld wins the first Ladies U.S. National figure skating championship in New Haven, Connecticut.

(March) A member of the skating Club of Boston, Weld goes on to win the championship annually 1920-1924. Weld also teams with another Skating Club of Boston member, Nathaniel Niles, to win the pairs championship in 1918 and from 1920-1927.
